The vision of our revered founder, Bhatiyani sa Suraj Kanwar ji Sahiba, epitomized a commitment to women's empowerment and served as a beacon of inspiration for all. Despite societal constraints, her unwavering determination to pursue further education was evident. However, she channeled her aspirations into educating her daughters, ensuring they wouldn't face the same limitations. This dedication extended to her daughter-in-law, now a renowned writer and esteemed CEO of the Mayad Foundation, fostering the groundwork for women's empowerment.

Her ethos emphasized self-reliance and financial independence for women, advocating tirelessly for their education and autonomy. Beyond mere rhetoric, she led by example, displaying exceptional skill in various domains including sewing, weaving, embroidery, and culinary arts. Her tireless work ethic exemplified her belief that every woman should cultivate her talents and stand on her own merits.

The foresight of her legacy is encapsulated in the Toshakhana project, a visionary initiative aimed at skill development for women and girls. Named in honor of her closest sentiments, its purpose is to equip individuals with the necessary household and technical skills to achieve self-sufficiency. Through initiatives like Toshakhana, her enduring legacy continues to empower generations of women, fostering a future where independence and self-reliance are attainable for all.

Bhagwat Singh Udawat

“A paragon of leadership, compassion and visionary fervor.”

Today, the fame of Bhagwat Singh Udawat is seen shining like the sun in the society and country. A sun which itself has set from the world but still exists in the hearts of countless people in the form of self-confidence. His unique and great personality is very inspiring for today's young generation. It is synonymous with simplicity, simplicity and the right path. Bhagwat Singh Udawat was the embodiment of humanity in the true sense. Bhagwat Singh Udawat started his government service in the year 1967 as Sub-Inspector in Rajasthan Police and retired as Additional Superintendent of Police in 2007. During this period he rendered remarkable and important services. The most important thing is that there was no red mark of any kind in his service record. He was an example of honesty and dutifulness.

During his long tenure in the police department, he provided important services in many cities of the state, including R.I. from 1975 to 1983. On the post of RPA Jaipur, PTS Jodhpur and Police Line Jodhpur are notable. In the year 1983, after being promoted on the basis of merit, he became D.Y.S.P. in Rajasthan Police Service. The post was held at Kendriya Bhandar Police Headquarters Jaipur, Senior Officer Jhunjhunu, Police Vigilance Department Jaipur.After being promoted in the year 1995 as Additional Superintendent of Police, Commandant PTS Kishangarh, Additional Superintendent of Police Ajmer City, CID Range Cell Ajmer, ACB Ajmer, ACB Jodhpur, retired in the year 2007 from the post of Commandant RPTC Jodhpur. At the time of last posting to service these RPS were in Super Time Scale.

Th. Bhagwat Singh Udawat received 61 commendations and awards in his 39 years of police service. He was awarded "Police Medal" by His Excellency President APJ Abdul Kalam for his distinguished services. Copies of the cases solved by them even today help in solving complex cases. They had arrested a total of 40 officers/employees red handed while taking bribe. Th. During his tenure of service, Saheb Mohra performed his duty selflessly, thinking about the welfare of the thirty-six community.

After retiring from Raj Police service. Bhagwat Singh Udawat took up the responsibility of social service and carried it out selflessly till his last moments. Hardworking social worker Tha. Bhagwat Singh Mohra was an example of his service, dedication and positive thoughts. For this reason, he was elected unopposed as the President of Udavat Rathod Mahasabha in 2010, where he completed many important and historic works for the welfare of the society for 10 years.These include making a documentary on the history of all the Udawat places by discussing the glorious history of the Udawat Rathod clan, spreading social awareness in the society as the Chairman of the Udawat Rathod Mahasabha Steering Committee, Smriti Bhawan Trust, Gopaldwara Trust under his able leadership. , Shri Bajrang Seva Mandal, Shri Krishna Marudhar Kesari Gaushala and Mohra village, bringing back on track the broken system and getting many construction works done is noteworthy.These include making a documentary on the history of all the Udawat places by discussing the glorious history of the Udawat Rathod clan, spreading social awareness in the society as the Chairman of the Udawat Rathod Mahasabha Steering Committee, Smriti Bhawan Trust, Gopaldwara Trust under his able leadership. , Shri Bajrang Seva Mandal, Shri Krishna Marudhar Kesari Gaushala and Mohra village, bringing back on track the broken system and getting many construction works done is noteworthy.

Similarly, for the convenience of the visitors in Jodhpur's BJS Colony, commendable work was also done to install road number and house number boards in every street with public cooperation. By creating harmony between the elders and the youth of the society, he started grand celebrations like Rao Udaji Jayanti. He also made many innovations to bind the society together and strengthen mutual relations. He also established a relief fund for the economically backward community members and operated it successfully and published Udavat Smrika to enhance the knowledge of the new generation. His gentle and tolerant nature kept everyone connected. Because of his tendency to take everyone's advice and along with him, every person in the society respected him with all his heart. On the platform of the society, Maharaja Shri Gaj Singh Ji Saheb of Marwar-Jodhpur had praised his selfless social and government services many times.

As a renowned writer in the Rajasthani language, Tarnija has amplified her impact through her literary contributions, delving into pressing social issues affecting women and girls. Her involvement with numerous NGOs over the past seven years reflects her commitment to social welfare and community service.

During the COVID-19 pandemic's first wave, Tarnija displayed exceptional humanitarianism by providing sustenance to marginalized communities, epitomizing selflessness and empathy in action. Educationally, Tarnija's journey spans prestigious institutions, including PM Shri Jawahar Navoday Vidyalaya, Tilwasni, K.N. Girls College, and Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur, where she honed her skills and knowledge across various disciplines.

Her accolades speak volumes of her contributions and influence, including Social Service and Women Empowerment awards, acknowledgments from esteemed dignitaries like Maharani Sahiba of Jodhpur Hemlata Rajye Ji and Maharaja Sahib Gajsinghji, as well as recent honors such as the Rajasthani Yuva Sahitya Award 2024.
