Demand to give constitutional recognition to "Rajasthani language"
A campaign to include Rajasthani in the 8th Schedule of the Indian Constitution.
The Mayad Foundation has been vocal in advocating for constitutional recognition of the Rajasthani language, a demand long-held by writers, poets and cultural bodies across the state.
Rajasthani is one of India's oldest and richest languages with a vast literary heritage, folk traditions and cultural identity.
Through awareness programs and community initiatives, the Foundation continues to support the preservation and promotion of the Rajasthani language.
