About The Program

The Heritage Awareness Program for Children was organized by Mayad Foundation in collaboration with INTACH Jodhpur Chapter to celebrate the birth anniversary of our respected founder, Thakur Sahab Shri Bhagwat Singh Ji (Retd. Addl. SP).

The objective of this initiative is to preserve and promote our rich cultural and natural heritage while creating awareness among young generations about the importance of history, traditions and local identity.

Heritage is not only about monuments and historical places; it is also about values, beliefs, customs and traditions that connect us with our roots and strengthen our sense of belonging.

During the program, children were introduced to local history, cultural values and the significance of preserving heritage for future generations. Educational sessions encouraged them to understand who they are and where they come from.

Dr. Mahendra Singh Tanwar, Coordinator of INTACH Jodhpur Chapter, blessed the children and shared valuable insights. Project Bhagwati Head Bhagyashree Mohra and Manvendra Singh Bansiya guided participants through discussions on local history and cultural awareness.

The event witnessed active participation from community leaders, NGO representatives and village dignitaries who supported the mission of preserving Rajasthan’s cultural heritage and inspiring young minds.

Program Impact

Increased awareness among children about local history, cultural identity, traditions and the importance of preserving heritage for future generations.
